Would love to see how you put together your animations

I'm looking for a video that provides a start to finish production of one of your animations. Basically, a recorded session of you producing an animation. I'd like to see how you animate, layer, and add movement. I have yet to see a video that shows how an animation was made with anime studio. Any takers?

You only waited 2 hours before posting your disappointment.

Consider:
1) Most accomplished animations use more than one program, so it's unlikely you'll find an end-to-end recording of a complete animation done in AS alone.
2) Such a video would be hours long.
3) Such a recording would probably not be that useful without explanatory text. This is a lot of additional work on top of making the animation to begin with.

The reality is that you have to watch a lot of videos, targeted to specific tasks you want to accomplish. They are all over the forum (and free). Taken as whole, these will form the comprehensive example that you desire.

Maybe this is an opportunity for someone to make such a video, but I'm guessing that GCharb's tutorials will be the closest thing for now:

That's seems about right to me. It simply takes time and work. There is no way around that. When I first got Anime studio I was expecting to get a cartoon up in just about a few minutes. Ha. This is when the process began, but I am amazed at how much training there is available if you just look around a bit and invest a little time.

if you want a video of the core animation process I can recommend the 16 DVD boxed set from Richard Williams.

Yours for around $1000.

(or read his book - going on 400 pages for around $40 - or maybe less if you hunt around)

then move on to the AS Video Tutorials (in AS: Help / Online Video Tutorials) backed up by doing the introductory tutorials (see AS: Help / Quick Start Guide)

the A.S.K. will tell you what to do; the AS tuts will show you how to do it in AS.

Richard Williams is overkill for a beginner. I'd recommend http://www.amazon.com/Animators-Workboo ... 0823002292 instead.
