Gradient export.

Post by Squeakydave »

Gradients export to swf. good!
They are such a pain to work out - you can't just click on a pallette to select specific (Client requested) colours, you have to select the colour from the pallette, open the colour picker then open the gradient and paste. Do this for both colours! Irritating to say the least. (Feature request - sort this out)

So for my current project (all gradients exported to Flash) I thought I'd be clever and set them all up as styles. Here comes the bug - They do not work, they just export flat colour!

My project just got WAY more time consuming and dull.

...I'm going to have a little lie down before I have to start again. :(

Aswell as that i've noticed that the gradient export to flash gets messed up sometimes. Rather than being a smooth gradient, as view in moho, it exports and the gradient seems to have move so that the actual gradient part happens near the edge of that shape - if you get what i'm saying?!

Don't know whether thats a problem or not, but it's abit annoying, especially when you don't want it to look like that... mate!

I noticed that and there is a way around it. Just keep changing the angle of your gradient 'till it works. Usually whole numbers but I haven't had the time to go through and check every combination :D
