I would like really to have a small team , too; I should make some episode of a south park like series and try to sell it .
If you want you can join my team. I can't pay you (I'm only 16 ) but I need as many people as possible. It's very light work. We're making a sitcom animation after "Lucky Bob" inspired (not copied off of) by cartoons like "The Simpsons". Do you get "The Simpsons" in Italy? I'm sure you do. It's extremely popular...

Anyway, PM me if your intrested in light volenteer work :D I may even give you stuff from the last scenes of Lucky Bob...

Okay, I 'll think about it.
Yes, we have the Simpson, futurama and South park but not regularly: they do transmit for a month of two ,new episodes and replicas without order.

Do you have doon some artwork about your next work? How do you have planned to make the sit com?
You known well that 15 minutes of commercial quality cartoon is a huge work.
Do you think to made an agile promo and try to sell it at the minor network?

1. I have some Moho files you can see and also have part of a script ready (I'm still waiting for my writer/director to finish  ). Then I'll start work on a storyboard.

2. I plan to animate the characters in Moho and draw the backgrounds by hand.

3. I am only making each episode between 5 and 10 mins if I even make more than 1. I don't really plan to treat them as a series but a thier own seperate shorts. Like the Looney Tunes cartoons.

4. I don't plan to sell to a network however I may try and sell a few CDs at my friend's school, see how people like them. I make them more for fun than to make money.

Undestood.
Well, hope the we 'll find clients.
It is the hard part , make cartoons, as well as make software is easy.

in the 2003 a berlusconi's network (italia1 ) has produced a series of "funny puppet" animation based program; so awful, so gross that I have no words for describe them.
The puppet looks terrible, a 7 years boy would have made better ones; the whole concept was terrible; "real "jokes at the phones with a lot of prophanity
"hallo? I am looking for pants " "what color?" "color of the shit", 30 minutes of puppet that move the jaws and this kind of gags.

After some week the show was killed ( the writer ,probably, not) .
But the writer knows people who knows the managers , so they did produce the "show".
In the other nerwork, the rai tv, is the same : you have to know people.
I don't know nobody. No managers, no artist, no anchorman , no senators.
I am sure that I coud present them a show better then the simp. or south park and still my chance to be hired are zero.
:(
Sigh
Is an hobby for me, not a business.

Hey Dan :D
The sitcom is called "Average Joe".

The Characters:

Joe: An average dad
Martha: An average but naive mom
Susie: An cute 5 year old girl that is normal sometimes but evil at others
Jack: A goth/punk rebellious teenage boy

First cartoon: "Average Joe's Family Vacation"
Summary: Joe and his family go camping.

We'll start work on it right after Lucky Bob is finished.

Oh yes, I'll be sending animation to you soon Dan :D

We have something like that over in America. I forget the name...
It's the same thing basically only the puppets aren't animated. Unfortunantly, the show hasn't been killed :(
