I have a filled circle. I have another smaller unfilled circle shape inside. I'm trying to make a donut shape with a see-through middle. I can't find any tool or option to do this.
Any ideas?
Very simple: Subtract from shape, how?

use the delete shape tool on the outer circle, this will remove the fill. now use the create shape tool, selecting all of the points, hit the create button at the top or hit the space bar. This should make a donut shape. If you don't have auto fill and auto stroke checked when you draw your shape, you can go to the create shape and skip having to delete the fill.

Thanks to you, and in case anyone cares, here is my very first animation with this software!
I animated the scissors on my desk. Nothing special, but I enjoyed myself. Thank you!
(I really wish I could make animated Gifs for this sort of short animation - it would be easier to share.)
