New to Moho here.. appreciate the help from you !
I have a timeline of about 3400 frames, and have a line of 20 background characters on which I have created movement at certain points, some of which are several hundred frames apart
(movements were done for all of the characters at these points).
On a Mac G4, the render time is horrendously slow, and the whole thing crashes after about a 32nd of the job is done.
Why would this be happening?
Do I have to redo animation for all these characters separately and then put them all together, or can I still work with what I have somehow?

I've had the same experience, don't know what causes it, but there are a few workarounds you could try.
First, divide your scene into smaller parts.
If you can't do that, render in parts, frame 0-500 in one file, 500-1000 in the next and so forth and put them together in some editing software.
Or you could try the batch renderer, sometimes that performes better. Another thing to try is some other codec, might be that.
