-Probably I did not install version 8 before installing this update. (I unistall version 8.2. Reinstall 8, then 8.01 and then 8.2. But the problem persists )
-Which OS settings can be related to this problem? Maybe softwares that I have installed changed some OS settings.
-I am using the full version
-Nothing spesific, it crashes randomly.
My computer is:

I dont know if any other details that I can provide for this problem. I could not download this update(8.2.0.1) from Smithmicro site. Then I created a ticket and service team manually added the update to my account. The new update does not require a password contrary to previous updates. I dont know if there is a problem with the update that they send me. Thanks for your interest.
Tatrik,
Based on your feedback and the PM that you sent me - You've identified that a 3rd party script, downloaded from LM, is causing the crash. Unfortunately, our tech support team does not have the man power to be able to verify/modify 3rd party scripts. I would recommend contacting the author of the script and see if they've updated it.
Apologies for any inconvenience this has caused you.
By the way, one of our QA engineers is playing around with the files you sent me, if there is anything he comes across I will post up here.

Fahim

Hmmm, this is a bit worrying.Fahim wrote: a 3rd party script, downloaded from LM, is causing the crash. I would say it IS Smith Micro's problem, because scripts should not be able to crash the software they are running in - they should cause an error message to be printed, or give unexpected results, but NEVER crash.
And if I read this correctly, it's a version problem, so that it works on older versions but not 8.2? Again, Anime Studio should handle this with an error, NOT by crashing.
At the very least, you should say what script it is and warn other people that it is incompatible, or tell them what not to do.
Now people are going to be scared of running 3rd party scripts in their workflows - so professionals won't want to use them, and especially animation studios.
It just seems like Smith Micro is washing their hands of the problem, and blaming the script programmer - and these scripts are what makes Anime Studio usable for a lot of people. That's a bit of a slap in the face.
Sorry for the rant, but I don't want to see Smith Micro becoming an evil $mith Micro.
