Hello all
Question:
How do you create a transparent ghost?
I have anime studio pro and am importing a png image from photoshop that is transparent in photoshop, but ends up either solid or completely invisible once its in my anime studio project.
Please help!!!
Thanks
Normally, the preview window doesn't show image transparency. Try rendering, that should show the transparency of your image. Also, go to Display quality (on the right down corner) and check "transparency" and "smooth images" that could help too.

That is the public link to the image. I have saved it as a png.
It looks transparent when you first import it, then when you play the animation, it looks solid.
Just imported the image in AS and works ok here. I'm con Pro 8.2, which version do you have?
Also, are you sure you checked "smooth images" on display quality?
I have AS 8. Transparency and Smooth images are both checked in display quality. It appears as transparent, until I play the animation, then it becomes opaque. I feel like there must be some small thing I am missing.
the image is fine. what you're doing is a PREVIEW play not what will be actually rendered. try rendering a short animation you'll see it is transparent

When you hit play you can't see the transparency of the images, the effects of the vector and some other complex stuff. It's to consume as minimum resources as possible. It doesn't mean the transparency is not there, it's just the preview.
A tip, if you press and hold the right arrow of your keyboard, you can see the animation playing with the effects and transparency.
Thank you!! Thank you!! Thank you!!!
I was getting so frustrated. That seems to be it. I had a feeling it was something smaller then I thought.
I really appreciate the help.
