hello,
i´m having a problem with one of my camera tracks. i use a lot of camera movements, and they all play smooth when rendered except for this one, which judders badly. Its a slow track along a landscape consisting of only two layers. already put some motion blur on it, but it didn´t help.
i´m grateful for any hints what i could do about it...
thanks,
ophir

Re: camera movement judder reduction?
Hi Ophir,
Without seeing the file or a movie clip of the problem it's hard to say what's going on. If you're still having trouble I'd suggest deleting All the keyframes in the camera movements and just rekey them. That is, ONLY if it's not a lot of redoing work. I only suggest this because it might be a keyframe you don't see or just missed that's messing the animation up. Scroll to the place in the timeline where it's messing up and check ALL the keyframe layers and see if tweaking or deleting any of them help. Sorry I can't be much more help than that. If you keep having issues, post the file up so everyone can look at it and see what's going on!

Practice random acts of kindness and senseless acts of beauty! Pause, consider, do! I dare you!
Re: camera movement judder reduction?
hi guyver,
i can´t post the clip, its a commission & top secret...
but i actually solved the problem by slightly moving the layers at the same time the camera moves. don´t know why, but it works.
thanks for your advice anyway.

Re: camera movement judder reduction?
oh - it may be too late -- but did you by any accident hit the "handheld camera" option in scripts / camera?
Re: camera movement judder reduction?
It's a bug that happens with camera movements and complex z depths and or layer blending modes.
There's no fix..............yet.
I have had real problems with this , the dev team are aware of it.
I suggest emailing them as not many people have reported it.
