Fixed the links. I had bad links on the script downloads. They are working now.
Someone was asking about a script to automatically scale a layer to offset for z translation.
The idea is that when you use the 3D camera motion in Anime Studio, you can do "parallax" type scrolling of layers that replicates a multiplane camera setup. the drawback is that this z translation causes the layers to change size visually moving back and forth in the z axis. In order to compensate for this it would require a lot of annoying scaling and adjusting of these layers and making additional changes to z translation would also require more annoying changes.
My solution to make this simpler, are 2 scripts. One is a tool script and one is a layer script (I prefer the layer script). they both do sort of the same thing. You could use one or the other or even both together. The reason I prefer the layer script is that it doesn't require using a different tool and it works more effectively. The modified layer translation tool works the same way and is also a good solution.

Hi Vern!
The Download for: magic zscale is the wrong file, it will download the hm_switch-layer-bone-control

Dagnabbit!
Fixed the links! Sorry. I did this so fast yesterday. I was practically walking out the door. I had copied the links from the wrong location and only checked that they worked not if they were thew correct fils. Ooops!

Re: Layer and Tool - Z translation scale offset scripts
Hello.
Tool script works awesome and love the results.
This tool/script is sooo much easier that using the older method shown in Tutorial 6.7 and the results can be achieved MUCH faster.
I try to embed the script and it does not scale the sub layers. Not sure why.
I see that is key framing the scale when I translate, however, doesn't change any of the scale values.
THANKS AGAIN

I will look into this and see what might be wrong.
Thanks for the comments.

Re: Layer and Tool - Z translation scale offset scripts
Thank you, this is great script!
Will be big timesaver now and in future.
I did notice that when I use this for png-images, scale will stay the same as intended. But location will move depending on how much z-value gets translated.
Not sure if its bug or not, moving them back to original position is still way much easier than scaling.
Cheers!
