what about a weekly challenge with a specific topic

follow the same idea about "Everyday Display Challenge *REVIVED*" would be nice create a competition (without prize ) where we select a topic and then share an animation (very short) follow the topic rule...I follow a 3d artist named "gorilla" who have a five second challenge

I would love to do something like this if it was an animation exercise to practice a particular animation skill or principle. For example, I saw on youtube that students from the Sheridan animation program do an assignment to animate a head rotation, expression change, and lip sync. At conceptart.org there are many of similar daily and weekly and monthly challenges, they are run by moderators.
Normally a basic principal is established and then everyone is invited to make topic suggestions, the list is collated and a topic is dished out by a moderator.
Voting systems are also used (if memory serves) to help pick winners.
Now that people can post videos easily, this could work well....... thinking.
