where are the rotation keys?

Post by Tstyle »

Ok this is really frustrating and a total work stopage. I'm trying to make a cylcling animation. Right now im just translating the root bone of my rig to get the basic timming and pace. So far so good. When I decided to add some rotation to the bone on top of it, no keyframes appeared in the timeline window and the rotation animation also would not cycle with the rest of the animation on the bone. ????

Hello Tstyle,

do you have the Bone Angle channel showing (Settings button on the timeline, first two channels need to be ticked)?

If this isn't showing, you wouldn't see the rotation keyframes.

Rotation keyframes won't automatically pick up the translation cycling. You also need to set cycling on the rotation (Bone Angle) channel (once it is showing).

Regards, Myles.

Hmmmmm, it seems today that the keys show up when I select the bone angle in the timeline (I had it checked as visible and double clicked on the icon the same as I did yesterday  ). Might be a bug.
