Select/Set Multiple Properties ...

Post by bupaje »

Not sure if this has been discussed yet -or even if there is some way I didn't note to do this (especially since I haven't had play time for a while) but I was checking up on a user project for a level editor at the 3D Game Studio forum and the ability to select multiple entities and set a value seemed like it might be cool in Moho as well.

Here's a screenshot to illustrate

The idea being that you could select several layers at once and then have a popup of thier shared properties. Then you might set the visibility for all those layers to 50% at once, assign a shortcut for this group selection and later make them all visible at another frame while still being able to individually select the layers and edit properties.

If there is a feature in their somewhere like this then ignore me, my memory problems are in full bloom and I don't have Moho here at work to check it out.

I'd love could select multiple layers at a time for that and for several more reasons... One of the most usefull would be can visualize Keyframe Animation of several layers at a time in the Timeline (LM called this as "Deeper" )And would be a DREAM for all of us (I think) can have all that information in front of ur eyes during Timeline animation works... 8)

Of couse, it'd be PERFECT for Translate/Rotate/Scale layer pourposes, do you remember when you only could select one bone at a time? (only a few months ago), well, now seems INCREDIBLE that we could work in that way... Well I'm sure that when we can work over several layers at a time (I hope soon :) ) It'll seem INCREDIBLE too that we could work (effectively 8) ) in this way... Well, little by little Moho is growing (very well) at last :D

PS: The same thing for Shapes...

Yeah, non of my suggestions are critical. Just putting ideas on the pile for some future version. For the price -and even for more than the price- you can't beat Moho. I hope I can use it when I start my student animations to show it off a bit.

your suggestions are as critical as anyone else's. I think it's a great idea and everyone will pop boners over it (in a 10 year old context)... even adobe...
