check it out!

Post by wovenskin »

excited to finish my first project with anime studio. This is a promotional video for a party being held in Philadelphia.

I do realize there is a slight problem with the audio balance but unfortunately I ran out of time and wanted to get the movie out before the weekend.
I definitely need some practice with my key framing,etc... but overall, I'm very proud of my first completed effort.
Thanks for checking it out!

not bad - dancing is in good sync, audio didn't sound bad to me...
It's a bit long though :P you could have cut it down by half by designing the info slides a bit better...or better still, designed the information into the animation itself so it can be read while you watch and then finish on where to get the tickets slide or something?
Really not bad at all for your first project!

Yes, good thoughts. Thanks for your input.
If I had more time I would have kept tweaking and improving but it was not a paid gig and I had to get it out there before the party!
It's tempting to keep improving just for the sake of perfection but it would serve no purpose at this point. Better to start something new!
I will take what I've learned and be better (and a whole lot faster) next time!

nice.
Don't under-estimate the time saving effect of pre-planning - instead of spending time tweaking improvements and tweaking and tweaking, try to plan - rough - time - tweak at this stage before actually going full steam ahead. Tweaking is far easier in the early stages!

Good luck, and enjoy the party!
