a good book!

Post by red hamster »

Yesterday I bought this book :http://cinema.supereva.com/cinema_e_libri/artI2433.html
there is not an article in english, perhaps it is available with amazon.
the book is rather short but the big deal is the dvd : there is almost 2 hours with the shorts non commercial cartoons of 3 great italian animatorsn ,the first is from 1947 and the latest from the 70's.
Despite the relative lacks of funds (they does not have the money of disney studios) the quality was very high.
For only 20 euros , I think, it is a must have.

Don't think that you can find an obscure italian book in some donkey'stable.
:(
I found it only in a really huge bookshop in the center of Rome.

Went to amazon.co.uk, and entered "Gibba" as a search string; I got
"Fate and Effects of Uranium and Arsenic in Surface Water of Abandoned Uranium Mines"

It was in English, but it might as well have been Italian!

So, no joy here...

You can't have everything. Where would you put it?

I can't find it using amazon! Sorry, I hoped that it will be available. I bought a pair of english (printed in U.K, i mean) books in the past, using amazon. It looks that they don't import italians books.
Gibba is the second name of an our great animator ,he is not the author of the book.

The author is called Emanuele Bigi.
Shit, I don't know if is possible to order this boock outside Italy.

Repeated the search string using "Emanuele Bigi" -- nothing. Closest match was "bags" - there were a lot of those... So it looks like you are right; the book is strictly an Italian affair. Pity.
