A simpler way to copy/paste keyframes

Post by Explodey »

I'm using ASD 8 on a Mac, and I'm wondering if there's a simpler way to copy and paste all the keyframes within a given timeframe in a layer, without having to drag-select through all the different types of keyframes. It's just that if there's a certain sequence that involves a lot of different types of keyframes, it becomes kind of a hassle to drag-select all the way from top to bottom every time I want to copy it.

My idea was to go into Preferences, activate the "Consolidate timeline channels" option, then copy and paste the range of keyframes, and then deactivate the "Consolidate timeline channels" option afterward. This did work, but after I deactivated the "Consolidate timeline channels" option, I discovered that the process had created new keyframes for EVERY single type of animation that Anime Studio uses. These new keyframes didn't actually do anything, other than totally clutter up the Timeline window, which completely defeated the purpose.

Is this a bug? Is there a workaround? At any rate, what I'd really like is a way to just use the Sequencer window, but from what I can glean from the manual, the Sequencer is only for time-shifting, not copy/pasting.

Thoughts?
