Animal Experiments

Post by slowtiger »

The final version is officially online now: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xxFbQfbxXjI

About 750 assets were created in TVPaint and assembled in AS. This made work fast and efficient, and revisions were easy: just replace images or QT movies and keep the names, and AS updates automatically. Also I made some use of multiplane and unlimited zoom, as well as the ability to multiply assets (like all the bunny cages).

Nice Animation.
please tell me that you created 750 assets in TVPaints as Vector or PNG or Transparent Background mov.
I just want to know because PNG and Mov are not vector
This will help me in my projects.

Because I can draw and animate much faster in TVPaint. Only 2 scenes were done with vectors: the lips in the lipstick scene, and the ballooning hamsters.

It looks excellent. I like all the background textures. I find it quite difficult to watch at times so even though I don't understand the narration the message is clear. Great work.

Solid work again, the pace makes the time go by quickly

But I'm really just glad Hans Peter didn't get hurt

All I can say is "wow." From concept to finished animation, everything about this is about as good as it gets. Excellent!

Very nice! I couldn't understand the narration, but was struck that animation is such an effective medium for a video like this. That way you can elicit an emotional response, but not show real footage of animals being harmed, which would make many people stop watching. Well done!
