Our new short "Leaving Home" was just released on vimeo:
Most of it is animated in TVPaint, but there's some ASP under the hood
Enjoy!

Wow, that's wonderful. Everything in it works! There's some genuinely funny and touching moments too. This is really great. Which parts were ASP?

Some very small parts. Simple things like the clouds at the end. And the mist. But also the mother who is doing the dishes at the beginning. And some parts were roughly timed/blocked in ASP and then drawn and finetuned in TVP.
99% is TVPaint though, which is tough manual frame by frame labour.

Beautiful video, the story, the animation, the comic and the serious parts, all is well executed and told, congratulations!

I couldn't spot the anime studio, but I really enjoyed the film. Lovely work!

I couldn't spot the anime studio,
If you can spot the software, the film isn't as good as it could've been.

Is this for the festival circuit? I wonder how you finance this or is it for promotion? Great story in any case...the love really comes through in the storytelling.
