Problems with Content Library

Post by sin210 »

I'm using Anime Studio Debut 9 (9.5 now) and I keep having the program crash (not responding) when I try to open the content library. This has happened many times before, but it is especially bad now that I upgraded to 9.5. I read another post that said the fix was Preferences> options> Use Old Library. This is not an option in Debut. The option is not there. Any way to fix this major bug??

Are you running Windows? Do you have Internet Explorer 8 or newer installed? This is a requirement to use the Library.

Oh no, I see now, I'm running Windows 7. I remember I uninstalled Windows 8 because I absolutely hated it. So that's the only way I can use this critical feature to this program? Is to install a browser that I absolutely hate? That really sucks.

Does Windows 8 have Inprivate browsing? No. Right?

I had this same problem with IE 10. Tech support had no answer. When IE updated to 11, it stopped. Tech support said there was no reason they could think of as to why this happened and they said perhaps I had a file in IE 10 that was corrupted. It could be but I never had any problem with IE 10 otherwise.

Wow, Okay, Yes I am using IE 10 as well. I was confusing IE with Windows. So I'm using Windows 7 and IE 10. How can I get the content library working correctly?
