This is one of those unfinished animations I made as I was learning ASP ver.7. I got sidetracked every time I learned something new. It needed a number of edits like the drifting missile that looks like a crayon but I never got back to it. You can see where I got my avatar from.

This reminds me very much of a cartoon movie I saw approximately 80 million years ago on Nickelodeon called Revenge of the Humanoids. I loved that movie and would definitely keep watching more of this. It's setting up some kind of cool space battle or something. Very well done and intriguing.

Nice work on that hammer and the rotating near planet on the z axis. This was done in AS 7? Is it the Pro version? If it has the 3D effects that allow you all that, I gotta get Pro after I finish my next project. The rotation of the missile was spot on too.

It looks great. You should finish it. Having done a lot of space scenes recently I was interested to see yours and they look much better than mine!

Re: ASP7 Clip I may not finish
Danimal, thanks for the comments. "intriguing" is an interesting word. I wanted to make the triangle shape, which is an optical illusion, a major part of the story. People never mentioned it so I thought they didn't see it. I may have to point it out with dialogue between the characters. I'll try to complete it before this year is out.
Little Yamori, I was really excited about the 3D capabilities of ASP v7. Some of the planets were filled with gradients and were not 3D but the one that looked like the moon was filled with a texture. One forum member created and uploaded a file to Dropbox for me. People did a lot to help me learn the program. I have an obligation to finish it but I don't want to go back to version 7!
AmigaMan, I cheat! For those space scenes I copied and modified photos that I found on the internet. I'm not a purist by any means! But I appreciate your compliment knowing that you are one of the professional animators in this forum community.

Nah, it still looks good. The audio sounds like it was recorded about 10 feet from the microphone though, and there's a kind of gap between lines. With sound effects or music, that might not be as noticeable.
