Exciting to see what people can do blending their talent with this software. It just looks great!

A flaw in my personality is that discovering all these jewels of knowledge often causes me to abandon current projects. I actually feel mentally challenged because I can't learn everything as fast as think I should. My reaction is to work even harder. Let me emphasize I enjoy the process. :D
I think your work is great, dude. And I suffer from the same flaw. That's why other YouTube animators put stuff out every couple of weeks and it takes me months...

Thanks, LY,

Yeah, this software is great, and can become even greater. We gotta spread the word, because If I ask someone on the street if they have heard of Flash, chances are they have, but if I ask them about AS, almost no one has... Sure, they are different... but I believe that AS deserves to be on par with Flash, for what it can do.

Anime Studio is better than Flash in many respects, not the least of which is the ease of use. Flash makes things needlessly complicated.

And the Don King picture has a kind of Saddam Hussein feel to it. Saddon King?

HAHA. Yep. But the hair is cut off! That's the selling point! I don't know what I did wrong when posting it...

And I agree about Flash. But it doesn't change the fact that Flash is still far more popular.

Just as an example, I could do a tutorial on the same subject for both softwares. And in a month the Flash one would have ten times the views.

I just want AS to be as popular as Flash is when it comes to animation. We still have a ways to go.

All too true. People think needlessly complicated and higher price = better software. Maybe someday people will see the light, we can always hope, right?

ASP competing with Flash? I think we have to do some work that gets noticed in a big way. One of my unfinished projects was an animation of a popular song. I felt people would find my animation in the seach results. I never got back to it. I still think we could get noticed if we take on popular subjects. This thread has made me think I should try it again. This time I'll have to learn to draw a caricature of the singer. :!: I love a good challenge.
I really wish it could be a community goal. We have the talent.
Cheers, Larry
