I made this a while ago actually. I was in the process of making a full-length episode of this "bird" and others, but in it I got discouraged because back then my animation skills weren't too good and I was not pleased with how the outcome of the episode I was making was turning out. But yea, here it is!
Welcome! I really like this character! His personality comes through well in the voice acting and the animation acting. Plus his personality is interesting and it looks like it would be an entertaining show! I also like where you're going with the character design. But the colors are pretty visually jarring, which bugs me because they're so close to looking awesome. I hope you don't mind I took a screen shot and just played around with possible color schemes. The bottom right corner is your current colors. If I try to look at any of those colors next to one another, my eyes just physically tense up. The others on the right side are kind of exploring other jarring color combinations in case that's what you're going for. On the left I played with some less abrasive combinations. Not suggesting you should use any of these per se, but just that you could try different things and see if anything fits your vision for the character.

"I bet im going to be the only one watching it [sic]" - a feeling I can relate to all too well...
The use of the glasses to convey the emotional state works well and will make animating somewhat easier. Interesting character and design, I hope there is indeed more of this bird in the future.
