Anyway to export to a Screensaver format?

Post by Hopper200456 »

I know this is a long shot...
But I've always wanted to have a custom screensaver. And I thought it'd be really cool if I could use Anime Studio to do it.
I tried looking around online if there was an "AVI/WAV/ect... to screensaver" but there wasn't any results. :(
Is there anyway to somehow "export" to a screensaver format?

If not, does anyone know of any program/way to do this?

Thanks for you help!

Not sure what kind of screensaver you want, but there are bunches of apps out there to create interactive type moving screensavers from you own photos or artwork. I even saw one that creates screensavers from Flash files.

My thought would be to first find an app that would do what you need, then just create your animation or artwork with Anime Studio and I am sure it would be usable in a screensaver creation app through importing or whatever.

What format is a screensaver? Is there something specific? Basically, Anime Studio can export to bunches of video formats. It can export to Flash with limited features. It can save out standard image formats, PNG, JPEG, BMP, TARGA even PSD.

It won't export directly to a "self contained running screensaver" format if that's what you are looking for. It can export to an image format that could simply be used as a screen saver image in some sort of default slide show type screen saver.
