How to make the Layer and Tool panels reappear

Hi Everyone
I was on Anime Studio and I accidentally clicked on Windows > Layer and Windows > Tools.
Now the Layer and Tools panel won't show up and it is SOOO annoying!!
Even when I clicked on those buttons again, they only showed up in small windows.
How do I get the Layer and Tool Panels to show up as default??

They should cycle through if you select them from the menu. A check mark next to the item means that it is undocked, if you close the undocked panel and select the same item again it will show up again undocked. But while it's visible If you click on it again from the menu it should dock it back in its place.

There is unfortunately no check box.

just as ddrake has said:

Do you have the Layer / Tools window open undocked? If not, then open the Window drop-down and click on the (layers or tools) line (which won't have a check mark by it!) and the window will open undocked. Do not close that window!

With the Layer / Tools window open undocked, go (back) to the Window drop down and click on the (layers or tools) line (which *will* have a check mark by it!) and the window will dock.
