Very smooth and natural. This is definitely a keeper!

Much improved wing motion. I like the new angle view.
I would soften or smooth the transition from the down stroke to up stroke. It's too abrupt and "mechanical". You need some slight easing there. It's when the wing is all the way down and starts going back up.

Wow, good eye.
It also looks like there is a bump in the back of the far wing, as it descends.
Funny how you can stare at your project for hours while in ASP and yet miss something that you pick up as soon as you see it online.

I have the exact same problem when I ask a question online. I can spend hours fiddling and experimenting and finally give up on a problem, go online to some forum like this, explain the problem in detail, ask the question... 5 minutes later BANG! the answer hits me.willf wrote: Funny how you can stare at your project for hours while in ASP and yet miss something that you pick up as soon as you see it online.

Ok, here's the final rig in flight. The wings edges don't jump around as much and the tail has smoother motion.
I need to add a smart bone for blinks and one to facilitate speech but otherwise I'd say it's not too shabby.
