Birthday Girl: Smiley Kid

Post by mtbuck24 »

Hey fellow AS users! Doing a couple of tests with lip syncs and need some constructive criticism. This is a little animation with Smiley Kid singing Happy Birthday to my two nieces. I present it Sunday. Let me know what looks good and what doesn't....

Thanks!

I like it, but maybe the character needs a more rounded mouth for "to" and "you"...?
You can't have everything. Where would you put it?

Thanks Jahnocli!

I would do that but I am having the hardest time with these smart bone lip syncs...I need like the ideal mouth to set up for lip sync, any tips?

What I mean by a hard time, is the points distort when I have more than one smart bone moving...and I can't figure out how to fix it...

Sort of frustrating.

*Edit: I went back and fixed it* still need helping creating the perfect mouth for smart bone lip syncing though ;)

Do you plan to make any more Smiley Kid or Smiley Guy animations?

No not really. I just use those to test out mouth syncs instead of building a whole character. They are kinda just to mess around with and because of my lack of skills in Anime Studio I can't do much else for the moment...

Still, good job on those animations, you're getting better and better each video.
