Animating a bg image, then changing the image?

Post by Telemacus »

I've just created a simple background animation where I've used an image (image A) as a background layer (aproximately 50 keyframes) then I've moved this layer around and exported the animation. Pretty basic stuff, all good.
Now, I wanted to repeat this animation (i.e. exactly the same moves) but with a different background image (image B) which has exactly the same dimensions.
I thought I'd be able to simply copy the keyframes from image A layer into image B layer. It turns out that I can't.
Is there a quick workaround?

Just change the source image of your image layer. That way all the keyframes are still there.
