It isn't perfect. I still need to go back in there and squish his head upon impact for one frame to try and trigger that classic exaggerated effect. maybe adjust his arm before the impact....stuff like that...
Here's a general layout.

One interesting thing worth noting was that I as a switch layer, I organized it so that the character moved across the screen without having to use the Transform Layer tool. The issue was, he covered so much ground that I had to make the camera follow him, sadly, this produced a distracting shaky effect that didn't really suit my needs. So what I did was I layered all the individual images over each other and made the background move while he just fell and ran one spot. I moved in conjunction to the background to help add to the idea that he's running.
