Using Anime Studio 10 Debut I am following along Vern Zehr's very helpful Youtube video on how to create facial rigs (http://my.smithmicro.com/webinars/anime ... me-studio/)
Right around the 16:15 mark, he has the "Add Bone" tool selected, yet he is able to change the cursor to a "Move bone" mode in order to test his bone operation. Can someone please tell me how he does that? Or some other method of manipulating the bones to test the eyelid operation?
Thanks in advance.

Re: How to move bones?
AT 16:15 It appears that he is using the Select Bone Tool to point out various bones. Select bone is keyboard shortcut B, Then he uses Translate Bone to move the smartbones up and down to test the lid's movement. Translate Bone is keyboard shortcut T (add bone is A)
Other options for moving the bones are Rotate Bone (R) and Manipulate Bone (Z). Hope this helps.

Re: How to move bones?
In version 10, Rotate/Scale/Translate are part of the same tool (Transform bone tool).
Dragging over the bone, rotates. Over the base, translate. Over the top, scales.

Re: How to move bones?
Thank you! The answer was a combination of moving the frame cursor past frame 0 in order to access the correct tools, and using Alt in combination with the Transform Bone tool to "force translation", and being on the correct layer. Thanks for your help!
