AS 9 Export Crashing Problems (...again)

Post by Hopper200456 »

Wow it's me again, back with more problems.

So I'm trying to export my animation, yeah?
It's 1920x1080p, big, but nothing I haven't done before.
24 FPS. 2313 frames.

Regardless of any settings I try, it crashes with:
Image
(If the image isn't working:)

"Runtime error!

Program: C:\Program File...

This application has requested the Runtime to terminate in an unusual way.
Please contact the application's support team for more information."

And then afterwards, of course, it crashes.

This isn't the first time I've gotten this error, but normally it's when I try and export a lot heavier files.
So after trying many different file types and codecs, I decided I would just export the frames to PNG, a put it together else-where.
But it crashed again! Okay. So I decided to split it up, so it's not as big of an export. I told it to just export the first 578 frames, but it still crashed in the same way.

So far everything I have tried has resulted in a crash. I used to be able to export with specs higher than this with "no" problem. I have restarted AS multiple times, restarted my computer, and I don't really have any ideas of what to do next.
Help?

Quick Glance Specs:
Resolution: 1920x1080
Frame Rate: 24 FPS
Frames: 2313
File Type: Tried AVI, MP4, and PNG. Open to new file types though.
Version: Anime Studio 9.2 Pro

Also, when you export (without exporting to PNG) what compression codec do you use? None of the ones I have work.

This sounds like a video framework problem to me, as all codecs behave the same (= not working). I have no idea how to fix that, but you may google in that direction.

Always have to ask: do other video programs export, or crash as well?

I haven't really tried any other programs. Is there a program that can read and understand AS files?

No you don't need an AS file, you're just testing the video export of any other program.

Oh! Sorry, I got confused, heh.
Yes, I have tried exporting in other programs, and it was fine.

Do you think it'd be unreasonable to try and contact the Anime Studio/Smith Micro Support Team? If so, do you know an email I could reach them by?
Thanks for the help, man.

I seem to have found the problem.
You see, I had one of those end-slates where your two previous videos are shown, offering an annotation to click away to them. I had imported video files, and I guess it was too much for the program to handle, because when I deleted them from the project it worked fine. It's really weird thought because even when I'd try and export frames that didn't involve the video files, it still would crash.

Whatever, I can add it in a different editor. Just glad that it's working!

Thanks for the help, Slowtiger.
