How do you use the drawing tool?

Post by box »

This seems to be a quite stupid question, but...
I can't find a "set point" drawing tool!? When I get the tutorial right, it is meant to create shapes by using the "add point" tool. So click - drag - release - click - drag...etc. Afterwards select edge points and create edges.

Is this REALLY the way I am expected to draw? I do not want to join the "I-want-to-behave-moho-like-flash/illustrator/else", but EVERY drawing app I know of has a simple drawing tool where you just click-click-click-(alt-)click (create an edge point)-ready. (I left out the "bezier" way here for obvious reasons)

Sorry, newbie question, but I hope I overlooked something...
I could not find this point in the discussions.

Oh, and I just saw I posted in feature requests. Mmmh, I thought I was in the general forum. Might any Admin shift this to the right place?

In the tool bar select pencil and draw whatever and then delete and add points as you would like. I guess you would have to live with that... And if you really can't stand the drawing tools, draw in another program and import the drawing into MoHo.

Uh, I see. In this case it IS a feature request! Please, please include a "pen" tool.
Simple clicking creates a curve point on a new path segment, alt-click creates an edge point. (Bonus: command-drag lets you finetune the position while drawing.)
This is what I would call the most basic drawing tool in any vector app.
OK, Flash did not have one... in Version 4.
