music video for my cousin's band
Just a short clip for my cousin's band.
I'm hoping to make more clips for local bands so any tips/feedback would be much appreciated.

Re: music video for my cousin's band
The video matches the music and looks good, especially the use of the angry eyes. In fact, the kind of cool animation is the only thing that kept me watching since at about the fourth second it was clear the music was never going to be anything but awful.
Good luck in creating other clips for other bands. With luck, you'll find one that's not as terrible as this one.

The 'music' did nothing for me but the visuals were great! I turned the sound low and kept watching so it held my interest. Very good

Yeah punk isn't everyone's cup of tea. Personally, I love the stuff. Really cooks my biscuits.
Thanks for taking the time to comment. I'm glad you liked it.

The video is much better than the song!
I like your style. Have you ever thought of matching the visuals to the "original" punk fanzine layout style? (Do a google image search for "punk fanzine art".) Wonder how this would look if the animals were all black&white like bad xerox copies, maybe with a splash of colour here and there?

That's a really good idea, mate. I will most definitely be looking into a style like this.slowtiger wrote:The video is much better than the song!

Re: music video for my cousin's band
Since you worked with images, there's this nifty little trick if you're experimenting with different styles.
Choose a scene. Have all images for this scene in one folder. Duplicate the folder and give it a different name, this will be your backup. In the original folder, open all the images in Photoshop and paste new stuff into them, or treat all images with filters or whatever. Be sure to just save the images without changing the name or the file format. Re-open the AS project and enjoy the new look without re-doing the animation.
