Cooking Hostile Episode 4 with Phil Anselmo

Post by 13fingers »

Been a while since i posted here. About a year ago i posted the pilot episode of this show here which you can still see on my youtube channel but here is the brand new episode that took me about 4 months to make with recording all the music and doing the animation. It's a show based on cooking that does parodies of Metal songs and the lead singer of Pantera (Phil Anselmo)is the main character. I was actually lucky enough to get Phil Anselmo to do some voice overs for this episode after i discovered he was a fan of the show. It's not for everyone, but if you are a fan of heavy music check it out. I think the animation has improved quite a bit since the pilot episode. It does contain some harsh language and violence so it's not too work friendly. Even though i don't post much, I've learned a lot from this forum and just wanted to say thanks for the help!

"can't eat these it gives me gasses!!!!"
I nearly fell off my chair at that point. Another success dude. Keep it up!

I may have said this before... I keep thinking I should write down the recipes and instructions... they almost seem like they might actually be good eats! ;)

Just curious though on production and the music... this is "real" musicians right? I see all the music credits... but the music is freaking top notch on the money. Blows me away. It would be awesome to see some "behind the scenes" of producing this, like a "live video" during your recording sessions. :)

The likenesses are incredible and the animation is really quite good. It was kind of all over the place, but as a dream that would make sense. Really very well done!

I was talking to Rex at Trees in Dallas last Saturday for the Ride For Dime show that I filmed last year. I am sure he would get a kick out of this.
Sorry for bad animation

This is just awesome. The whole concept and execution are great! The only thing I'd change is to break it up into two or more videos. But that has more to do with youtube viewer psychology and youtube algorithms.

*Edit: On the other hand, I see that you have a ton of subscribers and views already, so nevermind! :D This video length seems to be working after all. :D
