Animate Flying Over Terrain?
I want to create a camera that fly over some natural terrain. The effect I want is to make it seem as though we are traveling for miles starting slow then at a high rate of speed and ease slower toward the end of the trip. But the main thing I would like to learn is how to make the visual effect of flying over a vast jungle like a bird. I think all I need to get me going is to learn how to make a simple loop of trees over some land and take it from there. But I'm trying to imagine how to deal with the furthest trees so it looks random and not obviously a looped video repeating. Any help is appreciated.

plenty of approaches to this - which one will be best depends on how long you want the fly-over sequence to be, is it a fixed perspective (e.g. across the tree tops to an unchanging point at infinity) or is it variable (e.g. from looking straight down onto the canopy to looking up to the sky)? are there one-off features you want to include (e.g. a lake; a cliff ...)? and how much scene cutting do you want / can you tolerate (e.g. start with establishing shot of bird on tree; cut to close up of bird take-off; cut to bird POV when it's flying...)?
anyhoo ... if you want to take a look at the fly-by in this https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PjFulEo2auw and even if you say "no I need something completely different ..." that'll help to choose a suitable approach
