How do I STOP a walk action?

Post by paul4laffs »

Anime Pro 10 - I can get my character to walk using the action menu (mainline/walk) but it keeps walking. Can't figure out how to get it to stop, and there's noting in the manual telling you how. Sounds like a dumb question, but so far, can't figure it out. What am I missing? Thanks.

walk is a "cycle" over keyframes and to stop any cycle all you need to do is put a keyframe where you want the loop to end... so when you want to stop the walk, the easy way is to go to the bones menu and "Freeze Pose".

(see the _tutorial_ manual 5.3 to see more about cycling)

Thanks! That solved it! I was putting a keyframe where I wanted it, but didn't stop it. Your solution (simple - but not simple enough for me!) worked perfectly. Again, thanks for the reply and solution.
