Me and a friend are making a free point and click adventure game and I have been using Anime Studio for all the animations, we are hoping to release it by the end of the this month!
here is a video from the start of the game
Looks great, especially the walk cycles! Are those used throughout the game? It feels like a shame that they look so nice and are only briefly shown in the animation.
Walk at your normal pace. Time the walk and count the steps. You should find that you walk at one cycle per second. Or 24 frames for one cycle. Some people it's 18 or a little faster. Or 26 and slower walk.

Let's take 24 frame per second.
Try this:

Your animation is about 48 frames for one cycle.

Sorry, you are correct! I only render out 24 of the frames in the game, as I noticed this after playing around for a bit
Wow, I see Adventure Games Studio is still thriving. I played around with this years ago. Maybe I'll look into it again.
Good work on your game. The graphics look really good.
I love point and click adventure games. I will probably play your game. be sure and post here when it's done.
I have always thought it would be cool to make a Nick and Will adventure game. I've known about adventure game studio and have played an handful of games made with it.
And I have made games using RPG Maker so it wouldn't be out of the realm of possibility for me to use Adventure Game Studio, We'll see...
Very fun Animating walking sequences has been surprisingly hard for me to figure out. The background slows down at the end when it's not supposed to for some reason...
