I have a female character who throws a baton up in the air, and I want it to spin around.
When I try to rotate the baton using the rotate layer tool, the interpolation in between causes the baton to lose its size and shape. It just doesn't look right.
I can do it manually, keyframe by keyframe, but I was wondering if there's a better way. Something I'm missing?

Rotate the layer, not the vector points.

Re: Twirling a baton
whole long discussion about "spinning things" here... viewtopic.php?f=13&t=26304
I'd do a "slow" baton twirl as Genete has suggested; but for spinning faster there's switch layers (and/or depends on the effect you want, but Slowtiger's "helicopter" in that thread is neat ...)
