gradient affected by bones

Post by slm437 »

I have a gradient on a shape which is in a bone group because it has to sit above the body and below the arms. I understand that bone strength can influence a gradient but I have released the layer and all points for the shape layer but the gradient is still being influenced by the bones but the shape is not (the top curve was being influenced before I released it). Is there any way to fix that?

bind the layer with the cylinder / gradient to a bone of its own - that should fix it.
