Make A Text Layer Into A Vector Layer
How to you make a text layer into a vector layer in 9.5?
Re: Make A Text Layer Into A Vector Layer
Not sure you can turn a text layer into a vector layer.
However, you can create a new vector layer, and create the text as vector points in that layer.
1. Create new vector layer.
2. Click on the Insert Text Tool (It looks like a Capital Letter T, with serif) or press Ctrl-T.
3. When the Text window opens, look for two boxes, "Make One Shape" and "Make One Layer". Make sure that "Make One Layer" is Unchecked.
That should create the text as vector shapes. If you want the whole text to be one big shape then make sure that "Make One Shape" is checked.
