Hi all,
This might be a total newbie mistake or a setting I cannot find, but the audio I am putting into my animation is not coming out with the rendered materials. Also it is not there when previewing the scenes. I created a new layer, selecting "Audio" as its type and imported the file from my iTunes library. It does show up in the timeline but no sound whatsoever. I checked the audio level which is at 1 - supposedly that is 100%. Is there a restriction on the audio formats that can be imported?
What am I missing here? I have no time to read 100s of messages on creating your own sound or figuring out where the settings are discussed in the help materials or tutorials. I need to have this animation finished before my son's wedding 1 week from now. So any help will be greatly appreciated.

Re: Background music not working
(ASP11) Audio levels go up to 1000. (1 is "don't change the level from that in the file") It's animatable.
yes there are format restrictions: MP3, M4A, WAV, AIFF
Have you moved the camera? if this is background audio, uncheck "spatial positioning" in the Audio tab in Layer Settings.
if that doesn't help, just say.

Thanks, I will try one of the other formats you mentioned. Of course, after the wedding, I will publish the animation on YouTube and post a link on this forum. Give all of you a chance to shoot at it.
