Using Anime Studio Pro 11 and the new referenced layers feature I was able to create this illusion:

No script needed. 100% Anime Studio Pro 11

For the illusion to work, the animation is split into four frames (it could be more or less, but four to five works best). I created the animation on one layer, then using reference layers, I copied it four times, then masked these to show only the parts needed.
Any changes to the main animation layer are then updated to the other layers and the final illusion image is automatically made.
