Ouroboros test

Post by djwaterman »

This is just a test. There are a few things that I need to work on but at least I can see it will work.

On this one I tried scaling or squashing the bones in the tail as it goes down the throat rather than curling it up into the head.

It's cool. I love the design.

Is the hope to create a looping animation?

Maybe it's just me (or just me willing to say it), but the ouroboros is supposed to actually be eating its tail. Pulling the tail back out looks a little perverse. Again, maybe just me.

In the actual project it will just swallow itself and disappear, the reverse loop was just to lengthen the shot for YouTube, ha ha, I began to see the double meaning as I was animating. I've since added eyebrows to him which helps define the shape of the head more.
