Sample work + would you like to help?

Post by ruibjr »

Hi Folks,

Here are some samples I have been working on lately.
We are working on a 11 minute pilot episode for an action series.
We're going for a Samurai-Jack-like look and feel (and script).

I have a completed script.
Right now, I am working on a few model sheets.
And, right after that, I will create the animatics.

But, being a hobbyist, I don't have plenty of time to dedicate to it.
I wonder if any hobbyists around would like to help us trace, rig and animate this pilot.
Character design would also be welcome.

(And, yeah, in the first video, we have created a background that looks a lot like a bg from Samurai Jack, just to check if we could get that kind of lok and feel in Anime Studio).

Cheers!

This looks great! Can't wait to see more. I have used Anime Studio to create really short animatics before. But for something with a lot of shots and different sound files, I always bring everything into a video editor first thing. Once you have your animatic tested and complete, you can sub out the storyboard panels for the animated shots.
