Thick Rounded Lines Jagged Corners

Hi,
I know how to fix this by using shapes instead of line thickness but it really should not be happening.
Thick lines produce jagged edges on corners.



I tried increasing/decreasing the resolution but nothing will help.

Any ideas?

Yes...that is a render. Chucky suggested using a round brush which I have done as a quick fix.
It really needs looking at. Reported to mantis so lets see what happens next build.
