Adding points to imported image?

Post by Hans Rickheit »

Here is my current dilemma: I've imported bunch of drawing elements and converted them into vector layers for use in animation. I want to adjust and tweak the drawings. I need to add points and draw on the layers to do that. The "Add point" tool does;t seem to appear anywhere.

I was able to add points and draw on a previous converted imported image. I'm not sure why I can't do it on this one. Is there something vital that I'm missing?

Here is a link to the file: https://www.dropbox.com/s/g6n2eof4x096i ... anime?dl=0

(Note: It's a strange image, so it may seem confusing. One girl is standing on top of the other girl. The second girl's head is part of the first girl's "leg" bone layer - because her head is "attached" to the other girl's foot. The specific layer I'm having trouble with is the Bone Layer Group "girl1" - the "legs" layer)

no issues here with the add point for adding points to "girl 1 / legs".

and it looks as though you've succeeded in adding points, but in the timeline at frame 123?

((I'm assuming you've noticed that the "stroke" is not actually a stroke but a filled shape - so to change the "stroke" you'll need to add points to both sides of the shape??!))

Bizarre... It does appear to work properly now. I'm not sure what brain hiccup occurred to cause me to make changes in the timeline like that.... I'm getting' old...
