I believe this a pretty basic question. How you make a line "invisible" between elected points? My impression, from the various instructional videos, was that you selected the points where you wish the line to "vanish" and use the command "Hide Selected Points." This does not work. What obvious thing am I overlooking?

Select the Hide Edge tool
and click on every line section you want to hide.
