Can I change a Switch Layer Character during animation?

Post by Bhaus5 »

Hello!

I have created a character with a frontal view and a 3/4 view, and placed them in a switch layer. I am creating a scene that starts with the 3/4 view and I would like to switch to the frontal view during the scene (about 100 frames into the scene). However, each time that I change the switch layer to the frontal view, the character appears in the same location in the scene that he started at zero frame. In other words, the character does not simply change from 3/4 view to frontal view in the exact same spot.

Can I do this? Or, do I need to make the scenes separately and splice them together in another program (Cyberlink PowerDirector)?

Thank you in advance for your input! :D

Your 3/4 character has a different set of bones , so it will not move the front on rig.
You will have to match one to the other at the switch.
