Hi,
Could someone kindly tell me what a toon is, please?
Thank you.

You should watch 'Who Framed Roger Rabbit?' Then you'll know as much as anybody else.

Re: Toon?
Abbreviated form of cartoon, sometimes used in an attempt to sound more fashionable or "cool" than saying cartoon.
(Also sometimes used as a misspelling of tune.)
A simplified/stylized drawing/painting/design, generally intended for the purposes of humour, satire, caricature, or storytelling.
Tends to be used for single drawings , as opposed to comic strips and comic books.
Also used for the animated version (e.g. television "Saturday morning cartoons"), commonly including both 3D and 2D stylized animation.

So I have been making trees all this time? Consider the quality and quaintly that make sense.hayasidist wrote:or if that isn't what you wanted ...

Re: Toon?
In gaming we call characters toons. For example. "Does anyone have a widget?" "let me jump on a different toon and see if I have that item in the bank."

It's what you whistle when you don't know the words.
Re: Toon?
THANK YOU VERY MUCH!
i am Basbas (the one who posted the question)... but, unfortunately, I got trapped in an endless loop of Catchas (something like that) and couldn't get back into my account, even with reset passwords. So, I created another!
I really appreciate your kindness in advising me.
I thought "toon" must be a specialised form of "cartoon". But it's just a trendy thing, apparently... and a tree and a wordless song, to boot... or not to boot, that is the question.
