what brush settings for frame by frame

Post by alexgreen »

hi this is my first post so sorry if i mess something up.

i want do do some frame by frame animation in 11 pro and think i know how to except i cant draw anything for my animation, i don't mean the brush makes no mark but the smoothing and curving anime studio applies to my strokes makes it impossible to draw accurately (for example hands look like they have bulbous sausage fingers )

what can i do to make the brush 'normal' although vector is important to me i really love frame by frame and I was excited to see pro 11 had it so I'm really sad i cant get it to work. :(

Thanks so much for any help :D

Select the Freehand tool and go to "Freehand Options". There move the Smoothing bar to the left.

Additionally, be sure to check out Chucky's two tutorial videos on the subject.

FBF with Layers and Masking: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NzgxJKD93_I

The original thread for the above video and the Template file mentioned in it is here: viewtopic.php?f=5&t=27514&hilit=fbf+chucky

FBF Webinar: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5b9ap_A8rrA

This webinar is a bit long--he doesn't really get into FBF till about 20 minutes in--but it's still a chockful of great tips and information about FBF.

Hope this helps. I know Chucky's videos have really helped me understand the ASP FBF workflow and adapt my own techniques.
