Importing 3d Obj objects WITH their texture

Ojkay. I am so of a total NOOB when it comes to 3D and 3D objects.

Here's my situation.

AS says: When impprting 3D objects, As does automatically also import asociated teture fies. Well, A friend gave me a 3D obj file. A mtl file and the png file of the texture. When I import the 3D obj, only the white object comes in. No texture. What is wrong, what needs to be done?

I'm going from memory here, but I think all three files need to be in the same directory.

The mtl file must be in the same location (not zipped) as the obj file. AS should automatically use it.
