Custom brush line render is jagged

I’m trying to figure out how to produce a line in AS with some life or randomness.

My problem is that when I use a custom brush to generate some kind of a irregularity to the line, the render quality is not ok, the line gets jagged. And the render gets worse when using smaller stroke width.

If I use “no brush” option in the style panel, the lines look fine to me.

Is there a way to increase the render quality for the custom brush?
